Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most famous role was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student at Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of the stage. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years before trying her hand at television as well as films. Anna had her first big role as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. At the beginning of 1990, she appeared as a regular guest in TV and film including Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot between 2000 and 2001. Skyler appeared on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional career. Gunn was also on stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn also played in a 4-part audio-play series named "Numbered Days". The story of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The decline of their relationship is similar to Walter White's dying years.
