Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is an American-born British sitar player and music artist. She was the first woman of her generation to be a member of an award from the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shankar is the hottest young star of the Indian sitar. She is a student and daughter of the famous Ravi Shankar. Born in London in 1982. She was a young girl who travelled to London as well as New Delhi. At the age of 13 she performed her debut performance in New Delhi. Then she relocated to Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. While she's still young Anouskha is a star in her performing and recording record. Since quite some time, she has been performing regularly with her father. Her debut single album Anourag in the year 1998. It was nominated for a Grammy Award. Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. As she's appeared on every major stage in the world, her career on stage has been extensive. Her career doesn't just comprise musical performances.
